You'll find flagship stores for international designer brands - Armani Exchange, Burberry, Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Versace and more - around Martin Place and on Castlereagh, Elizabeth, George and King Streets.

Dinosaur Designs is renowned for beautiful resin jewellery and homewares that are stillhandmade in Sydney almost three decades after the group’s humble beginnings at Paddington Markets.

Loved by royalty and celebrities alike, the exquisite children’s and babies’ wear from Adrienne & the Misses Bonney has been hand-embroidered for 110 years. At her Newtown workshop, Rosie Boylan shapes her hats using traditional wooden blocks and employs artisan hand dying techniques in pieces seen on the likes of Ethan Hawke and Natalie Imbruglia.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is just one of the famous faces framed by Neil Grigg’s delicate featherworkand handmade flowers. He also runs millinery masterclassesat his Paddington studio.

The CBD’s splendid Victorian Strand Arcade has always housed artisans, couturiers, milliners, glove and shoemakers, and the tradition is firmly upheld today. Contemporary makers include master cobbler Andrew McDonald, tailor Mister. Mister, Courtesy of the Artist custom jeweller and The Nut Shop, where the Mendels family sells chocolate macadamias handcrafted with century-old techniques.
