Take a ferry from Circular Quay across sparkling Sydney Harbour to some of the city's top attractions, such as Luna Park, an amusement park, and Taronga Zoo, where you can watch Mali, Miya and Lexi - Australian Sea-lions, the rarest seals in the world - in an exciting daily show.

In the city centre, the Sydney Tower Eye's outdoor Skywalk will thrill children aged eight and older with its 360-degree views. At Darling Harbour, kids can get close to furry native animals, king penguins, sharks and dugongs at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo and SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium.

Sea Life Sydney Aquarium

Join the kids aboard a replica sailing ship or explore a submarine together at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour. The Australian Museum, near Hyde Park, has lots of interactive displays for children, as well as 10 dinosaur skeletons and eight life-sized models.

Keep the kids active at Sydney Olympic Park, in Sydney's west, where they can learn a new skill at the Archery Centre, discover trapeze through Circus Arts and swim at the Aquatic Centre.

Horseriding is popular as well. Sydney's mild climate makes its beaches great fun all year. Join learn to surf schools at ManlyBondiMaroubra and Cronulla. For family shows and festivals, check out Sydney's exciting calendar of events. Tours are an enjoyable way to explore Sydney and beyond.
