Family Funday Sunday travel pass

Buy your Family Funday Sunday tickets at CityRail ticket vending machines and station ticket offices, on board buses (excluding PrePay Only services and train replacement bus services), at Sydney Ferries ticket offices and on board selected Sydney Ferries services and at selected newsagents, 7-Elevens and convenience stores.


Family Funday Sunday

Explore Sydney and nearby regions with the Family Funday Sunday ticket. For a flat fare of $2.50 per person, you can travel into the city centre, head to Manly on a ferry, visit Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, or go for swim at Cronulla.

Your travelling group must be related by family and include at least one child and one adult. The tickets cover all-day travel on a Sunday around metropolitan and outer metropolitan Sydney, including Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, the Southern Highlands, Wollongong and Kiama.

The ticket also applies to private bus operators in the Sydney metropolitan area, travel on the CityRail network, State Transit buses, Metro Light Rail and Sydney and Newcastle ferries.

Family Funday Sunday tickets cannot be used on the monorail, tourist sightseeing buses, special event buses and private ferriess such as the Manly Fast Ferry or Sydney Fast Ferry services. The ticket does not include entry to Taronga Zoo, Luna Park or other similar entertainment area. Find out more.
