Pay $2.50 to travel all day Sunday
For just $2.50 per person, your family can enjoy unlimited travel all day Sunday in Sydney, Newcastle, the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast, Hunter and Illawarra areas, by train, bus, ferry and light rail.
Your travelling group must be related by family and include at least one child and one adult. The tickets cover all-day travel on a Sunday around metropolitan and outer metropolitan Sydney. The ticket also applies to private bus operators in the Sydney metropolitan area, travel on the Sydney Trains network, State Transit buses, Metro Light Rail and Sydney and Newcastle ferries.
You can buy your Family Funday Sunday tickets from train stations, on board buses (excluding PrePay Only services or State Transit buses), at Sydney Ferries ticket offices, on board selected Sydney Ferries services and at selected newsagents and convenience stores. If you have an Opal card, a $2.50 travel cap is automatically applied on Sundays. You can find more Opal card information here.
Family Funday Sunday tickets cannot be used on the tourist sightseeing buses, special event buses and private ferries such as the Manly Fast Ferry or Sydney Fast Ferry services. The ticket does not include entry to Taronga Zoo, Luna Park or other similar entertainment area. It also does not include the Airport station access fee.
