Featured Photographer – Simon Fraser

1 December 2016

Hi, I am Simon Fraser, a self-taught amateur Sydney-based photographer.

I am inspired by the amazing pictures that other photographers create, and am passionate about trying to capture the Sydney area in, ideally, interesting and striking ways.

I love the ritual of a dawn photo shoot throughout the changing seasons – getting out before the city awakens, making photographs that friends and family can wake up to, and realise that they often missed the best part of the day! The Sydney landscape is world-renowned so there are many opportunities for a great shot.

I also love to capture Sydney’s famous manmade landmarks from different angles, or focusing on details people often miss, like the symmetry and lines in particular.
I hope you enjoy my photographs as much I do making them, and would love for you to follow me on my journey.
