Sydney Sustainable Markets at Taylor Square
Saturday 8 January to Saturday 22 December 2012
Every Saturday, iconic Taylor Square in the heart of Darlinghurst is transformed into a bustling market square, with genuine farmers and producers offering outstanding seasonal, NSW produce to inner city dwellers.
Visitors to the market will enjoy seasonal fruit and vegetables (organic and low spray), free range eggs, pasture raised meats, condiments, organic bread, olive oil, honey, flowers, herbs and more. Or you might like to spend a few hours at the communal tables, reading up on organic gardening or sustainable living, while sipping a freshly squeezed juice or locally roasted coffee.
Look out for regular mini-seminars and talks on urban sustainability from local chefs, foodies and presenters with a passion for inspiring others towards more sustainable lifestyle choices.
The market embraces the ideals of the Slow Food movement - celebrating food which is good, clean and fair. Sydney Sustainable Markets is proud to support NSW regional producers.
