Come cheer on your favourite team as they battle it out for cricket glory in the Sheffield Shield 2011/12.
The Sheffield Shield first began in 1892/93 as one of the premier domestic first class cricket competitions in Australia. Each of the teams plays a double round-robin series of home and away 4-day matches against every other team. Points are awarded for each match and the top two teams play a 5-day final.
So come cheer on you favourite and enjoy in the cricket excitement that comes with the Sheffield Shield.
