The city of Parramatta comes alive in November this year for Parramasala, the Australian Festival of South Asian Arts.

There will be two central Parramatta entertainment areas created for the festival featuring a mix of ticketed programs and free concerts and performances; the Town Hall and Church Street Mall and the Riverside Theatres.

For four days artists and acts from around the world who have been inspired by aspects of South Asian cultures and artistic traditions will present vibrant arts and entertainment including music, dance, theatre, film, visuals arts and comedy.

Church Street Mall will be transformed into a South Asian bazaar, featuring free performances, workshops and markets with traditional food, fashion and handicrafts.
