National Tree Day Community Planting - Ruse

Sunday 26 July 2015

About

Campbelltown City Council is hosting a Koala Food Tree Planting Day activity for National Tree Day at Smiths Creek Reserve, Ruse. The event is being held in partnership with a grant project co-funded by the Greater Sydney Local Land Services.

The planting event will directly contribute to supporting the rehabilitation of sick Koalas by providing an abboretum of Koala food trees, enabling Eucalypt browse to be harvested by local wildlife care groups.

Volunteers are asked to please wear enclosed shoes (such as sneakers), long pants and long sleeves are recommended. A barbecue will be provided to all registered volunteers. Please register through the website.
