Holi Mahotsav the grand festival of friendship and harmony is celebrated with colours and culture enjoyed by all communities. Tenth anniversary celebration of Holi Mahotsav will take place in Darling Harbour.
On Friday there will be a special program for schools, young people and children. The festival starts with musical performances, lectures, seminars and cultural workshops about diversity, multiculturalism, social cohesion.
Saturday becomes the stage of yoga, prayers, and meditation activities. There will be large Street Procession and Sacred Holi Fire ceremony which is believed to drive away evil from the society.
On Sunday, the traditional ancient practice of colour throwing/playing colours for adults will take place in the designated area.
The dance and music performances, cultural workshops, Yoga demonstrations, delicious vegetarian Indian food and merchandise stalls, Indian wear and jewellery will be present during all three days of the festival.
