Easter Feastival at Sydney Fish Market
Sydney Fish Market (SFM) will kick off its Easter Feastival long weekend with extended trading hours, opening from 5am until 5pm on Good Friday to cater for all their seafood lovers.
Shoppers can enjoy on-site family entertainment including face painters, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and activities commencing around 11am.
Open every day over the Easter long weekend, SFM will offer Sydneysiders ample opportunity to stock up on delicious seafood for their Easter feasts. Stemming from the Christian custom that no red meat should be eaten on Fridays during Lent, fish also remains a traditional Good Friday dish for many families.
SFM will once again host free cooking demonstrations at this year's Sydney Royal Easter Show. Sydney Seafood School demonstrator Brigid Treloar will cook a range of simple seafood dishes from 1pm daily at the Sydney Seafood School on the Road show in the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome.
