Come. Create. Celebrate.
Corroboree Sydney is a celebration of Australia's rich cultural heritage, featuring leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, writers, dancers and musicians showcasing their creativity and sharing their stories in over 100 events.
Presented at significant sites around the world-famous Sydney Harbour - Corroboree Sydney offers a unique experience of Indigenous culture. This collaborative endeavour, involving Sydney's premier arts and cultural organisations will present an internationally distinctive festival with a program of exhibitions, talks, performances, live music, films, readings and forums.
Festival highlights will include the colourful Gurung Parade of schoolchildren, the symbolic Firelight Ceremony and a chance to meet the makers at the Black Arts Market. 'Homeground', a curated dance and music weekend on the boardwalk of Sydney Opera House, and festival hub 'The Rocks Boatshed' at West Circular Quay will be just two of the key venues for Corroboree Sydney this November.
