Dangar Island Cafe - Dangar Island
Dangar Island Cafe is located on historical Dangar Island, a major attraction of the Hawkesbury River.
Within an hour from Sydney, the island can be reached by the F3 Freeway, the Pacific Highway or take the train to Hawkesbury River Station. Board the Dangar Island Ferry for a short but scenic trip to the island.
The cafe is located right at waters edge and features a menu of light meals and snacks. Bring your own wine, no corkage charge.
This is the only residential island on the Hawkesbury - enter a car free environment with abundant birdlife and unique plants.
Historical walking tours can also be arranged.
