Tobruk Sydney showcases rural Australia in a fun and entertaining outback show in the verdant Hawkesbury Valley, only 70 minutes from the city centre. You’ll marvel at the horsemanship of Australia’s famed stockmen and enjoy displays of sheep shearing, working dogs and whip cracking.
Held on a working sheep station with the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains as the backdrop, Tobruk Sydney’s Outback Program includes a sheep muster and a duck muster and you’ll learn how to throw a boomerang and even try your hand at using a stockman’s whip.
Taste Aussie damper and billy tea around a drover’s campfire, and savour a delicious barbecue lunch as part of the delightful experience. The Outback Program is daily from 10.30am to 2.30pm for individuals, families and tour groups. Tobruk Sydney is also available for functions and conferences.
And if you want to experience what it’s like to stay on a farm, Tobruk Sydney has a comfortable homestead that can sleep up to 11 people. The homestead has air conditioning and heating, a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, bunk rooms for kids and a wraparound balcony. Tobruk Sydney is at 5050 Old Northern Road, Maroota.
