The annual Sydney Jewish Writers Festival is a unique, meaningful opportunity for people to engage with the wealth and diversity of contemporary Jewish writing and to celebrate their rich cultural heritage.

The 2016 program highlights include award-winning Israeli journalist Matti Friedman and former member of Knesset, Dov Lipman, who campaigns against religious extremism in Israel. US author Dina Gold will also share her incredible legal battle to reclaim her family's property stolen by the Nazis. Precious possessions lost during the Holocaust also feature in the fiction of NZ author Julie Thomas.
Over 30 Australian authors including David Gonski and Mark Tedeschi, as well as the Sydney book launch of Rebellious Daughters. Discussions about death, refugees, survival, family legacies, music, debut fiction writers and more ensure that there will be something of interest for avid book readers and ideas people alike.
