Thredbo

Thredbo knows how to après ski with a great selection of bars and restaurants as well as some cool entertainment. Settle in for a rendezvous at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel, a local favourite that is home to views and ambience at Cascades Restaurant and The Local Pub. At the heart of the après scene, Alpine Bar hosts a range of live music events. Grab a drink and relax by a fire pit for some tunes.

For some intimate alpine ambience, experience a fondue at the Candlelight Lodge or ride the Merritts Gondola to Merritts Mountain House for a Bavarian-style feast and views of the village lights. Perisher

Perisher is home to a number of iconic bars and restaurants. Enjoy a tipple and some breathtaking views at Sundeck, Perisher’s oldest pub and ‘Australia’s highest hotel’. You’ll find a cosy lounge bar at the classic Man From Snowy River Hotel, or you can relax by the fire with cocktail in hand at Snow Gums Restaurant, Perisher Valley Hotel's signature restaurant and cocktail bar. 

Enjoy some fine chalet dining at The White Spider at Eiger Chalet or linger over drinks and dinner at Corroboree Lodge, where the Sports Bar serves a wide range of international whiskeys. At Perisher Manor, settle in at the Base 1720 Bar and Restaurant for cocktails by the fire or grab a bite at the Pub Family Food Court, a favourite meeting place for skiers. 

 

Charlotte Pass

Since 1930, the grand Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel has been treating Charlotte Pass skiers to fine food and wine. Order a drink and listen to live jazz in Adams Cocktail Lounge, play pool or listen to live music in The Cellar Bar. The restaurant and bar at the Stillwell Hotel is also popular and serves great food, and you’ll find China King, Australia’s highest Chinese restaurant, at the top of Lucy Lodge

Night skiing & fireworks

Skiing or snowboarding under lights is a great way to get more out of your snow trip. Enjoy night skiing or riding around the Village Eight lift at Perisher’s Front Valley, Zoe’s Carpet at Smiggin Holes or Basin Poma at Charlotte Pass. For over 30 years, flare runs, and fireworks have also magically lit up the night - don’t miss the big event as the orange flares magnificently wind down the mountains.

A taste of Jindabyne

Jindabyne is home to several great après attractions. Opposite Lake Jindabyne, Banjo Paterson Inn offers a modern bar and kitchen in The Overflow Bar. You’ll also find the Kosciuszko Brewhouse here, home to the famous Kosciuszko Pale Ale. Wildbrumby Distillery is another highly acclaimed purveyor of Jindabyne brews and beers.
