Drifter is an eight-berth houseboat, moored near the junction of the Darling and Murray Rivers at the historic Port of Wentworth, 30 kilometres from Mildura.
There are three directions that you can choose to travel, all of which offer their own special appeal and unique river views.
Travelling upstream on the Murray toward Mildura will allow you to visit the many attractions accessible by river. These include the Coomealla Club, Coomealla Golf Course, Mildura Winery, Lock 11 and Mildura River Front, Gol Gol Hotel and the Trentham Estate Winery.
Alternatively, you might choose to cruise downstream on the Murray through Lock 10 and swim from the sandbars, fish, water-ski, bush walk or just enjoy the peace and quiet.
Exploring the Darling River will allow you to experience the feel of the outback where the narrower channel brings you closer to bird life and wildlife.
Pure joy as you wake to the sunrise. Awe as you make it to the snowy peak. A sense of adventure as you motor across red plains. The relief of rejuvenation as you wade into an alpine stream. Connection as you taste native, fragrant leaves. A sense of belonging as you return to your favourite holiday house. Freedom as you dash into the waves. Discover the endless feelings a visit to NSW can inspire.
